Maybe People Have Less Money?

I have been pulling plugs of valuable hair out of my head over MSM soiling themselves with Dear Leader-worship over problems the Dixie Chicks are having selling out tickets for their ambitious 2006 tour in support of their #1 selling album.

The Wall Street Journal to wit:

"The Dixie Chicks have had the top-selling music album in the U.S. for two weeks running. They recently appeared on "60 Minutes" and the cover of Time magazine. But the trio behind the single "Not Ready to Make Nice" is discovering that country-music fans may not be ready to make nice with them, either."

America really must hate these three Lilliths of the song trade, with their snotty talent, good looks, and musical skill, and anti-patriotic statements that might be construed by the brain-adled as courage.

America loves freedom-loving, straight-talking, arab-bashing he-men, like Toby Keith, Clint Black, and Kid Rock. Look where they are playing to virtually sold-out throngs:

Toby Keith: Music Center, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Toyota At Montage Mountain Scranton, PA; PNC Bank Center Holmdel, NJ, Six Flags Darien Lake Theme Park Darien Center, NY; Tweeter Center-MA Mansfield, MA; New England Dodge Music Center Hartford, CT; Tweeter Center-NJ Camden, NJ. (see Billboard)

Clint Black: Thackerville, OK Winstar Casino; Marksville, LA Mari Center @ Paragon Casino Resort; Norwich, CT Dodd Stadium; Lancaster, PA Clipper Magazine Stadium; Elizabeth, IN Caesars Indiana Casino; Cuyahoga Falls, OH Blossom Music Center; Hinckley, MN Grand Casino Hinckley. (see Billboard)

Kid Rock: Sturgis, SD Legendary Buffalo Chip; and, Kelseyville, CA Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa. (that's it)

Where are thos stupid "chicks with dicks" playing?

More from WSJ:

"After playing 11 U.S. shows, the Chicks will for the moment steer clear of cities like St. Louis, Los Angeles and Jacksonville, Fla. Instead, they will "go where the fans are," according to their Web site -- meaning they will likely spend much or all of the period from mid-August to mid-October touring Europe and Australia instead of playing the U.S. dates they had planned.

'They're not canceling dates," says band spokeswoman Cindy Berger. "They are moving dates to accommodate a demand in Canada and Australia.'"

They are doing so badly, music industry reports confirm that the moonbat left is pulling out the big guns. Yes, as we feared A CONCERT TOUR BY BARBARA STREISAND!!! Beginning in August. Why, Heaven helps us?

"Philanthropic concerns are apparently what motivated Streisand to come out of touring "retirement," according to the diva's announcement. "The increasingly urgent need for private citizen support to combat dangerous climate change, along with education and health issues was the prime reason I decided to tour again. This will allow me to direct funds and awareness to causes that I care deeply about," Streisand said.

What a desperate act by desperate people? Why do they hate America?

Six Flags Darien Lakes is a good place for Toby Keith. Very deep.
I used to swim there back when it was just an old quarry. My brother still lives nearby. Visiting a few years back, Arlo Guthrie was scheduled to play there, but the staff was out on strike. Arlo crossed the picket line. I couldn't believe it!
