Lucy had just stepped out of the shower, and stopping in front of the mirror, was appraising herself when Ed walked in.
“I’m not feeling very good about myself,” she said. “I’m fat, I’m getting wrinkles, and my hair’s turning gray. I need you to tell me something nice about myself; something to make me feel better.”
Ed thought a moment and answered “well, your eyesight’s damn near perfect, for one thing.”
