Give me a sign, Lord; or: This Space for Rent

Two billboards I saw on I-45 last week-end. The first read:
“It’s a small world. I know, I made it.” –God
And 300 miles north I read:
John 3:3
Stop the porn
And be reborn. –Jesus
I wonder if Clear Channel and them put these up as a PSA,
Or if God and Christ pay the same rates as Ricks Cabaret? Or
If a third party pays, must they disclose their name and occupation?
-I can almost hear the wrap-up…“I’m God and I approved this message.”

    I saw one the other day that I THOUGHT was one of those Billboards signed by God. It said:

    "I've Always Stood Up For Local Businesses."

    And I thought, "What the...?"

    Then I noticed it was 'signed:'
    —billboard.

    Total ripoff of the Christians' concept, but amusing nonetheless.
